Join our team - KTP Associate - Research and Project Lead (Digital Nutrition)

We are looking for a Research and Project Lead to support us in the development and implementation of our digital food education platform in an upcoming pilot study. This Knowledge Transfer Partnership project will be delivered in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University and is funded by Innovate UK.

About the role:

This role will deliver a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Oxford Brookes University (OBU) and Think Through Nutrition (TTN), funded by Innovate UK. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the team and will be instrumental in realising the charity’s exciting plans for growth, through developing and implementing a digital nutrition programme for vulnerable and disadvantaged people, piloted initially in the prison sector and then with a planned roll out to other sectors, resulting in the sustainable growth of the charity and securing its position as the leading third sector organisation in the field.

This is a full time, fixed term role for 32 months. It is remote role, with regular travel between Oxford and London.

A successful candidate requires:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 2:1 in nutrition, public health, psychology or social sciences

  • Experience of independent project management

  • Experience of working in a complex stakeholder environment, with a focus on building relationships and managing expectations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities through nutrition

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and organisation in work
